Kane Brown Says He Wants Another Baby After Welcoming Daughter Kingsley

Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn welcomed their daughter Kingsley Rose, 10 months, in October of 2019. In a recent interview with Extra, the country star revealed he's already thinking about a second baby.

"Kingsley has changed my life. She smiles at me and my heart melts," Brown said, before adding that he'd like to have a son one day.

"I want a boy, too. I want a boy and a girl," he said.

"It's crazy that she's about to be 10 months old already," he said, adding that he's raising his daughter to be tough. "I play with her kind of rough, so she's already acting like she's going to play rugby or something," he said. "I can already tell she's going to hit hard."

When asked whether Kingsley would take after her dad musically, Brown joked, "She can scream so loud she'll make your ears bleed."

Since welcoming his baby girl in October, Brown has been able to spend more time than he had originally anticipated at home with her due to quarantine. Ahead of his 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival performance, Brown talked about how much of a blessing the last few months have been for him and his family.

"I wouldn't have had this chance to hang out with [Kingsley] all the time and see her grow and everything," he said when asked about the positive aspect of quarantine. "She's already got six teeth coming in so it's a lot of stuff I would have missed. It's honestly been a blessing for me."

"Me and my wife [also] got to work on the house a lot," Brown added. "We got a lot of stuff done. Not only that, we're spending all the time in the world with our daughter. And Kate's mom gets to come hangout with her granddaughter, and she's been kind of like our nanny — she comes down every other month. So it's been really awesome."
