Today the CDC announced that they are relaxing some of the COVID-19 guidelines due to recognition that about 95% of Americans (16 years and older) have some type of immunity from being vaccinated or catching the virus. Below are some of the guidelines the CDC has relaxed:
- Americans won't have to quarantine if they come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19
- People will no longer need to social distance (6 feet away from one another)
- Schools won't need to do routine daily testing
