Pete Davidson Said He Wanted To Marry Ariana Grande The First Day They Met

All summer long we have been fascinated by Ariana Grande and Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson's whirlwind romance - and while the couple is pretty public on social media (before Pete deleted his Instagram, of course), we haven't heard each of them talk in too much detail about how they got together and decided to get married so quickly.

Until now, that is.

Pete has opened up about his fiance and their fast-paced relationship in the latest GQ September issue. We learned everything from when he first said he wanted to marry Ariana, to picking out that engagement ring and their new lavish New York City apartment.

In the mag, Pete says he told Ariana he wanted to marry her the day they first met:

"The day I met her, I was like, 'Hey, I'll marry you tomorrow.'"

And Pete held true to his word! When Ariana called her on his bluff, he sent her photos of engagement rings. As Pete tells it, after the couple looked at rings, Ariana sent him back the ones she liked and he replied "sick," aaaand I guess that was that!

Pete also opened up about the pair moving into a new apartment in New York City together, saying he thanks Ariana for "letting him stay there" all the time. But Ariana always insists, "this is our home."

And it's one swanky home, with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths for just the two of them. The complex itself also has a 75-foot pool, a juice bar and an IMAX theater.

While the apartment itself is clearly luxurious, Pete says the couple is taking on furnishing it and decorating one day at a time.

"We have six bean bags, but we have no forks... We're learning how to be adults. We're having a really fun time."

There is no denying that this relationship was on the very fast track, but it seems like a pretty normal relationship, considering. They're just another young couple that's picking out rings, furnishing an apartment and "learning how to be adults," together.
