Demi Lovato To Make Comeback Performance At 2020 Grammys

Demi Lovato is heading to the 2020 Grammy Awards.

On Tuesday (January 14), the Recording Academy announced the pop star as the latest performer for the upcoming ceremony, which will air live on January 26 on CBS at 8 PM ET/5 PM. "I told you the next time you’d hear from me I’d be singing," she captioned a promo image of her on a couch. The caption is in reference to a cryptic post she shared in early December. To pair a black image on Instagram, she wrote, "The next time you hear from me, I'll be singing...." This will mark Lovato's comeback performance since her 2018 near-fatal overdose.

“You know what’s great about making an album? You get to say anything you want, be as open and honest as possible and finally tell your side of the story regardless of who might not like it," Lovato previously teased via an Instagram Story in 2019.

Among the other performers at the upcoming ceremony include Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Aerosmith, Billie Eilish, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and others. Stay tuned for more on the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in the coming weeks!
