Charlie Puth is sharing how the first few weeks of his marriage to Brooke Sansone looked a bit "unusual" to that of other newlyweds.
The 32-year-old musician stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday (October 7) where he revealed that he and Sansone had to spend some time apart after their honeymoon following their fairytale wedding, per E! News. The couple tied the knot at his family home in Montecito, California on September 7.
"Right when the honeymoon was over, you went to New Jersey and I went to work in Brazil," he said, also addressing his new wife in the audience. "So we didn't see each other for a week, which is a bit unusual, but we're here now at Watch What Happens."
The "See You Again" singer also shared how when it came time to planning the wedding, he took a back seat to his now-wife's vision and he couldn't be more thrilled.
"You did it all," he told her. "I was reading the Vogue article, like, 'Oh my god, this is unbelievable.'"
Puth recently confirmed that he had married his close childhood friend by sharing some sweet photos from their special day and thanking his new wife for "making me the happiest man alive."
"I love you Brooke... I always have, with you I am my very best," he said. "I promise I'll love you everyday in this life, and even more when we move on to our next."
