Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm have cancelled their beloved annual Halloween events.
Knott's Scary Farm will not be happening this year because of COVID-19.
“The unique features of Scary Farm will not allow us to operate within the constraints recommended by the CDC and public health experts,” Knott’s officials announced. “We know that this news is disappointing, but we look forward with great enthusiasm to making 2021 Knott’s Scary Farm our best year ever.”
Disney park officials had previously announced that the annual Oogie Boogie Bash was also a no-go this year.
It's been five months since California theme parks were forced to close down because of the coronavirus and at this point there's still no word on when guests will be allowed to visit again.
