According to The Verge, Netflix has announced that they are teaming up with Microsoft for an ad-supported streaming tier. Microsoft will also become the streaming services "global advertising technology and sales partner."
There is no word on the official launch date for the ad-supported subscription but it is rumored to come to Netflix at the end of 2022. Netflix is also looking into livestreaming and a way to stop password-sharing as they revealed they had a decrease in subscribers for the first time in a decade. Head to The Verge for more.
