You might've seen online that 5 Seconds Of Summer had to cut their performance short yesterday in Houston, Texas because they had to rush their drummer Ashton Irwin to the hospital.
Today the guys along with Ashton, gave an update for their fans via Instagram story and Twitter on what had happened during their performance on June 26th. 5SOS explained that Ashton had experienced extreme heat exhaustion but he is "feeling OK and recovering very well."
“As you may have heard, last night’s show ended early due to a medical incident during the show,” 5SOS wrote in a statement shared to the group’s Instagram Story on Monday (June 27), as seen by Billboard. “Upon experiencing physical symptoms, Asghton was taken to a local hospital for tests and medical review. As a result, it was advised Ashton had experienced extreme heat exhaustion.”
