Four children were rescued after being in the Amazon jungle for 40 days after a small plane they were on had crashed.
According to Complex, the children are "members of the Uitoto Indigenous community" and were found near the boarder between Colombia's Caqueta and Guaviare provinces. The children have been identified and their ages are 13, 9, 4 and 11 months. Truly amazing that these kids were able to survive and especially take care of an 11 month old for 40 days. Glad they are okay and are on the road to recovery as they experienced such a traumatic event. Sadly their mother was killed in the crash along with the pilot and an indigenous leader.
